Buddy fka Bentley

June 15, 2006 – June 28, 2016

Buddy fka Bentley was 15 weeks old when his owner surrendered him. They were unable to provide Buddy with the exercise and attention he needed. If you could harness his energy, he could probably light up your whole house, he was a dynamo.

Buddy found his forever home with the family of Peggy Sue, Dave & Ilona. Peggy Sue wasn’t quite sure about having competition for attention, but she did enjoy having someone to play with and help her check out the squirrels.

Buddy was 10 1/2 years old when he succumbed to cancer. We got him when he was around 12 weeks old. Per Rita he was the leader of the pack getting all the other pups she had in trouble. True to form, the first thing he did when we got him home was jump into the koi pond. He was our "wild child" and knew how to pull our chains. He would go and grab underwear out of the laundry and prance around until he got our attention. He also learned how to bring in the mail and newspaper; anything to get a treat. When he didn't think we were quick enough with the treats he would sit next to his food dish and bang on it until, you guessed it, we gave him more treats. I can't think of another dog that drove us to exasperation yet was the most loving Velcro Vizsla. Buddy was simply Buddy. We miss him terribly. Ilona & Dave
