Tessie had a hard beginning to her short life; she was an approximately 2 year old, spayed female purebred Vizsla. She came into rescue as an owner surrender who had found her running loose in the country. Every attempt had been made to find her previous owners, but no one ever came forward. She was very underweight, very nervous, did not handle stress very well. Tessie however was a lover, knew lots of commands, PLUS as a 2 year old V she holds a solid as stone point on birds, rabbits and of course cats.

Unfortunately Tessie’s rubber band broke one day and she unprovoked, attacked her foster mom’s sister, bit her in the neck, she was going for the throat. She then tried, unsuccessfully, to do the same thing to our foster’s husband. This incident happened the day before a potential adopter was to meet her. With sadness we had to help Tessie cross over the Rainbow Bridge where she can be free of the demons that possessed her. Run free little girl, we will see you again.
