Oh where to
begin….at first I was “No Name” since the shelter was so busy they
never gave me a name. After trying out several names, my foster mom
came up with Jesse James and it seemed to fit. I am about 18 months
old and they say I am a Vizsla mix. Whatever that means. I don’t
care though my foster family and I get along just great and I am
having the time of my life with the other dogs in the family.
When my foster mom said it was time for a bath. I jumped right into
the shower with her, I just LOVED being soaped up and clean. Now she
calls me a shower bomber because every day I thinks it’s his shower
time! I love it when she sprays me in the face when I peek around
the shower curtain. I LOVE the little bath scrunchie and soap and I
will grab it every chance I get and run off with it! Hence the name
I had never been in a house before. It was like Never, Never Land to
me. Tile and wood floors were really dangerous to me, I could hardly
keep my balance. If I tried to run real fast I would wipe out, but
it was kind of fun too. They also had this thing that made a LOT of
noise which I did not like at all. They called it a vacuum cleaner,
I called it a MONSTER.
I think I am the luckiest dog on the planet. I found a home with a
great family. There was 2 big people and several smaller people. I
really like the smaller people, they are fun to play with. They all
take turns on taking me for walks and a thing they call jogging.
It took me a day or so to get used to my new family, but I wouldn’t
be anywhere else. There is so much love here. Thank you 2nd Chance
Vizsla Rescue for saving me.
