Silly Willey's RB Story
May 18, 2018 – February 13, 2023
Silly Willey was only 15 months old and the victim of irresponsible breeding when he came into rescue. He was diagnosed with narcolepsy and cataplexy with hallucinations. What this means is he would fall asleep anywhere at any time or he would turn to stone. Insomnia is a side affect so many nights NO one got any sleep! With care and medication, we were able to live with Willey for years with very few incidents of his issues. However, in Dec 2022 Willey’s issues started to return only now he was beginning to howl in pain. In February of 2023 his howling in pain became every night occurrence up until this time we had controlled his painful howling, but now nothing worked. We decided that what was best to help him over the rainbow bridge. He went peacefully and his ashes were spread on the trees on the property of Central Vet Services. Many tears have been shed by all who knew him, and he is missed deeply.

Willey affected of us who came in touch with him. He was a beautiful dog and a product of a puppy mill breeder. He is not in pain any more.
